Problems with audio recordings

Internet Explorer 8/9:

If you get a "recording does not exist" when you try to play an audio recording, then check your Flash Player and make sure you have the latest version. Do you still receive the same error after updating your Flash Player then make sure the file really does exist.

Chrome and IE10:

The file exist but the recording won't play when you click the play button. Then right click on your mouse and then click on play.

Video/Audio recorder won't record:

Make sure you have allowed the application to access to the camera and/or microphone on your computer. If your settings are set to "deny" the application does not have access to your camera or microphone and hence you won't be able to record.

To change your privacy settings do the following:

  1. Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Macintosh) the application image while the application is running.
  2. From the content menu, select Settings, and then click the Privacy tab.


Also make sure that video and sound recorder requires port 1935 to be open.
